Our Appointment Procedure

When booking an appointment a trained medical receptionist will request a brief reason to the appointment to make sure you are directed to the most appropriate clinician.

They have powerful search functions so you can find what you need quickly.

Speak to a Pharmacist

Learn more about what your pharmacy can do for you

The Community Pharmacy website provides information on the following three NHS services:

  • Pharmacy First Service
  • Blood Pressure Check Service
  • Pharmacy Contraception Service

There is a separate page for each of the services on the website providing information about the three services and there are links to the NHS website to find a pharmacy that offers the service.

The website also explains that patients have a right to choose which pharmacy they use to receive NHS services.


Booking a Doctors' Appointment

Each weekday morning you can book GP appointments.

Monday – Friday morning and afternoon GP clinics, Thursday AM clinics only.

GP appointments are available to book 1 working day, 1 week or 2 weeks ahead, there are appointments bookable on the day from 8.00am over the phone & 8.30am in person.


Booking a Nurse Appointment

We have nurse appointments available each day.

All nurse appointments need to be booked by telephone or in-person. Nurse appointments can be booked up to three months in advance. Our nurses will see patients for smears, chronic disease management, vaccines, injections, dressings etc.


Booking a Phlebotomy Appointment

Phlebotomy has appointments from 7.30am on Monday & Fridays & 8.00am Tues, Wed & Thursday

You can book these appointments by telephone, in person or online using SystmOnline or The NHS App up to three months ahead.


Booking a Healthcare Assistant Appointment

HCA clinics from 2pm for BP, a range of vaccines, ear checks etc.

You can book these appointments by telephone, in person or online using SystmOnline or via The NHS App up to three months ahead.


Life Threatening - Go to A&E

If you or someone you know has a life-threatening condition, such as loss of consciousness, a sudden confused state, chest pain, breathing difficulties etc, you should call 999
